Mervin H. Anderson Jr., CPA, MS (Tax)

Merv Anderson has built his reputation by educating and empowering individuals and businesses, guiding them through the process of legally, morally, and ethically minimizing their tax burden. 

Based on more than 20 years of experience with taxation, creating innovative tax solutions for individuals and businesses, along with many years of experience as a business owner, Merv has assisted countless clients with strategically structuring their business and personal financial affairs to take full advantage of the tax laws.  Through extensive study of tax law, he has developed a reputation as one of the top tax practitioners in his field. 

Merv was born and raised in Orange County, California, and began his career after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting-Professional, from California State University, Long Beach.  He subsequently received a Master of Science degree in taxation from Golden Gate University and became a tax partner in an Orange County CPA firm where he worked for eleven years.  Anderson Accounting was established in 2002 and has since established a reputation as an innovative new company offering client centered professional services with an entrepreneurial point of view. 

Merv resides in Trabuco Canyon, California with his lovely wife and two great children.  He is the Vice-Chairman of finance of the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce, a member of the board of directors of Interfaith Interim Housing an Orange County homeless shelter, and a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
